Justine began her journey in community work when she began organizing on her college campus at San Francisco State University in 2021. She worked on the campaign, "Keep Covid Off-Campus" during the rollout of return-to-work orders in the early COVID-19 pandemic. From there, she began an internship with the California Faculty Association and a student ambassador position for the new "Climate HQ" at SF State.
Justine has been building her experience in Public Relations while volunteering with local organizations and coalitions in her free time. While early on in her career, she has found a deep sense of purpose in community work and creating media that informs people, empowering them to make important decisions.
